Avialta is owned by Rod Wood and managed by Paul Horvatis. Purchased in 1985, Avialta has grown from a small two man operation to seventeen personnel. Avialta presently employs seven licensed engineers and two apprentices who are responsible for maintenance on the shop floor. Our overhaul shop has two full time employees, who between them have over 60 years in the helicopter business, 35 years in the component shop alone. All of our employees have completed various helicopter type factory courses and Transport Canada approved training courses.
